Hoved Ting 2026

This route (Dk: Ting) doesn't follow the most direct path, but instead tries to take in as many beautiful views as possible in Schleswig-Holstein, on Als, and along the Funen coastline. First, we'll cross Schleswig-Holstein, enjoy a nice stretch each of the Fördesteig and Gendarmstien trails, a bit of the Alsstien trail, then circle Funen, and return to Café Timeless in Hamburg.

When planning this route, we specifically looked for dotted lines on the maps , and we found them quite often. This makes the ride more interesting and varied, depending on the weather. Keep this in mind when choosing your bike. There certainly won't be many continuous climbs, but the landscape was shaped by the Ice Age, so several short but steep ascents in a row are not unusual. Since we'll also be riding along the coast a lot – don't forget, the wind is often in your face.
